Ford was 62.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Pasadena, California, Ford began working in the adult industry in 2001.<\/p>\n<p>While Ford starred in more than a dozen adult films during his 22-year career, he also appeared in mainstream movies, such as the romantic dramedy &#8220;The Next Best Thing,&#8221; starring Madonna and Rupert Everett.<\/p>\n<p>An established musician, Ford also appeared in the music video for Cyndi Lauper&#8217;s 2008 single &#8220;Into the Nightlife&#8221; before touring with the singer that same year.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, he appeared in multiple stage productions and was the subject of the 2005 documentary &#8220;Naked Flame.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A number of Ford&#8217;s friends and colleagues paid\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.out.com\/news\/colton-ford-dead\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tribute<\/a>\u00a0to him on social media.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It is with great sadness I share word of the passing of my friend, who you may have known as porn star and singer Colton Ford,&#8221;\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/DallasSteeleXXX\/status\/1924917326270673221\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wrote<\/a>\u00a0fellow performer Dallas Steele. &#8220;Few details have been shared, but sources say he died from an accident on a hiking trail in Palm Springs. Glenn was such an amazing spirit. Always thinking about what he planned to do next. Always optimistic about the possibilities.
