LOS ANGELES — ePlay livestreamer and Key Club member Chrissy LeBlanc won the Cosplay Showdown at last month’s X3 Expo, at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.
Chrissy, who livestreams with her partner and girlfriends as MyPerfectHarem, wore a homemade Beetlejuice costume she spent about 30 hours crafting.
“Most of those 30 hours were livestreamed on ePlay, so my fans got to watch my creation come to life,” Chrissy said. “I might have been able to make it faster if they weren’t interrupting me with tip menu items and goals, but I’m not complaining!”
“Chrissy’s success goes beyond her exceptional costume-making abilities,” wrote ePlay’s Korrie in a blog post. “It’s her infectious charisma that truly captivates audiences. At X3, her costume commanded attention, and Chrissy lit up the stage with her vibrant personality and engaging presence. In addition to bragging rights, Chrissy also walked away with a $1,000 cash prize, as well as an Apple Watch, courtesy of Cosplayground.
She’ll also get the chance to shoot a scene for Cosplayground.
